for 30 years Munich was thanks to Karl Richter as the Mecca of Bach's care. When Karl Richter died 30 years ago, on 02/15/1981, from heart failure, a great era came to an end. The longtime director of the Munich Bach Choir and Bach Orchestra was without doubt the greatest Bach interpreter of the 20th Century, his recordings even survive in space, a "messenger to mankind" on the probes Voyager 1 and 2
At 30 Anniversary of the choir director, conductor and organist Karl Richter brings BR Classic on Monday 14 Februar 2011 19.05 - 21.12 clock Johann Sebastian Bach's Mass in B minor, BWV 232
In einer zweiten Sendung erklingen am Dienstag, 15. Februar 2011 um 18.05 Uhr:

We can not read and translate the new book of our long-time follower and friend of Karl Richter's art and interpretation of music. But looking through the 300 pages, we find the results of hard work. Lots of data, tables, references and some pictures from the Karl Richter Archive.
Congratulation to Nonaka Hiroshi! We recommend anyone interested in Karl Richter work (and able to read Japanese) to get hold of this new book, published by Shunjusha [ISBN 978-4393937860 ]
